How it works
- 1Add a photo.
- 2Choose the background: transparent or a color.
- 3Click “Remove background” and download the result — a PNG at the original resolution.
Limitations
- Files up to 60 MB. Very large images may not fit in your device’s memory: on iPhone and iPad the limit is about 16 megapixels.
- JPG, PNG and WebP are supported. HEIC, AVIF and SVG have their own tools; GIF and RAW aren’t supported yet.
- The format is detected from the file’s contents, not its extension.
- The first run downloads the recognition model (42 MB); after that it comes from your browser cache. Recognition runs on your device and can take up to a minute on a phone or a slow computer.
- Works best with photos that have one clear subject: a person, an animal, a product. Fine hair and transparent objects or ones that blend into the background may be cut out imprecisely.
- One photo is processed at a time.
