Privacy policy

Last updated September 22, 2026. This policy explains what data the Folmixo service (folmixo.me, “the service”, “we”) processes and why. Questions about your data can be sent to support@folmixo.me.

1. Files you process

Your files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to a server. Converting and editing images and PDFs happens in your browser. The contents of your files, their names, previews and processing results are not shared with us or any third parties.

2. Data stored on the server

  • Account data: email address, whether it has been verified, a password hash (the password itself is not stored), and the account creation date.
  • Sign-in session details: expiration time, IP address and browser information, used to keep your account secure.
  • Subscription details: plan, billing period, status, end date of the paid period, and payment identifiers from the payment provider.
  • Saved presets and pipelines: only the operation settings, without files or file names.
  • Internal rate-limiting records (by IP address) that protect against password guessing.
  • Anonymous visit statistics (Umami, running on our own server): the page address without parameters, the referring site, language, device type, browser and country. No cookies are used, IP addresses are not stored, and visitors are not tracked across sites. If your browser has Do Not Track turned on, no statistics are collected.

The service does not receive or store bank card details: once payments are available, they are handled by the payment provider.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Sign-up, sign-in and account recovery.
  • Providing Pro plan features and managing subscriptions.
  • Sending service emails: email verification and password reset.
  • Protecting the service from abuse.
  • Understanding which tools people use in order to improve the service (anonymous statistics).

4. Third parties

We use the following companies to run the service. They receive only the data they need for their task and never receive the files you process.

  • Hosting: DigitalOcean, LLC — the servers running the website and the account database are located in Germany (Frankfurt am Main).
  • Email delivery: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — receives your email address and the text of the service email.
  • Sign in with Google: Google LLC (USA) — only if you choose this sign-in method; we receive your email and whether it is verified.
  • Payments are not available yet. Once they are, the payment provider will be listed in this section.

Because the servers and these services are located in different countries, your account data may be transferred across borders. By signing up, you agree to such transfers.

5. Retention

Account data is kept until the account is deleted. When you delete your account, your email, sessions, presets, pipelines and subscription details are deleted. Internal records of payment events that contain no personal data are kept for up to five years for accounting and to prevent duplicate processing. Accounting records held by the payment provider are kept under its own rules.

6. Cookies

The service uses only the cookies needed to sign in to your account. No analytics or advertising cookies are used: visit statistics are collected without cookies.

7. Your rights

You can delete your account at any time in your account settings — the data linked to it is deleted along with it. You also have the right to:

  • find out what data we store about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data;
  • ask us to delete your data or restrict its processing;
  • withdraw your consent to processing — delete your account or write to us;
  • lodge a complaint with a data protection authority or go to court.

Send requests to support@folmixo.me from the email address linked to your account. We reply within 10 business days.

8. Changes

We publish each new version of this policy on this page and show the date of the last update at the top. We notify account holders of material changes by email.
