How it works

- 2Choose a mode: by quality or to a target file size.
- 3Click “Compress” and compare the size before and after.
Limitations
- Files up to 60 MB. Very large images may not fit in your device’s memory: on iPhone and iPad the limit is about 16 megapixels.
- JPG, PNG and WebP are supported. HEIC and SVG have their own tools; GIF, AVIF and RAW aren’t supported yet.
- The format is detected from the file’s contents, not its extension.
- PNG stores pixels losslessly, so to compress it noticeably it’s saved as WebP or JPG — you can choose which.
- The target size is reached by adjusting the quality; if even the lowest quality isn’t small enough, we’ll show what we got and suggest reducing the dimensions.
- Files that are already heavily compressed sometimes barely shrink — you’ll see that honestly in the comparison.
