How it works
- 1Add a PDF.
- 2Choose the pages.
- 3Download the text as a TXT file or copy it.
Limitations
- Documents up to 200 MB.
- Password-protected documents can’t be processed — remove the protection in the app where the document was created.
- Bookmarks, attachments, interactive forms and scripts aren’t carried over to the result. Scripts in PDFs are never run.
- PDF text isn’t edited, and no OCR or compression is performed.
- Text can be extracted only from PDFs with a text layer. For scans, use text recognition.
- Complex layouts — columns, tables — may come out in a different order than you’d read them.
